PRIMARY SUPPORT SYSTEMS, has an immediate opening for a Network & Technical Support Specialist.
This challenging and dynamic position would suit a self-starter who enjoys a fast paced environment and a variety of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have talent and flair for troubleshooting combined with a methodical approach to system analysis. The candidate will work with the existing team to administer network and server infrastructure, as well as technical support. The ideal candidate will their own vehicle but it is not mandatory.
In this role of Microsoft Systems Administrator you will be expected to:
- Maintain data files and monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity
- Trouble shoot user application problems, performance issues on systems & networks
- Install, configure & maintain software
- Perform necessary upgrades to the operating systems, including researching and installing patches, security updates, and service packs
- Perform and manage system backups and recovery
- Maintain inventory for computer hardware and software licenses
- Provide support to Developers, DBA, System Analysts, Business Analysts & Project Management group on various Operating Systems and tools, network configuration & system related issues
- Provide day to day system administration on user id management, email accounts, mailing lists, file system creation/change, maintain version release software, etc
